Cambridge Iron & Metal was founded in 1909 in Baltimore, Md. We have been in continuous operation longer than anyone else in this industry in the Baltimore-Washington area.
Today we are one of the largest companies in the metal recycling business in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our 14 acre facility has convenient access to Interstate 95, and is serviced by both CSX and Norfolk Southern. We collect and process metal for reuse, including steel, brass, copper, aluminum and stainless steel.
Our wide range of services include: container, truck, trailer and roll-off service. We are direct shippers of processed, recyclable materials to steel mills, manufacturers and other consumers.
In mid 1999, we installed a 1,000 ton shear, a sign of our continued commitment to the recycling industry.
